Custom work is one of the most fun parts of Eclectic Elements—and because each piece is made specifically for you, we want the process to be clear from the start.

Custom orders are made to order

Custom and personalized pieces are created specifically for the customer. Because of this, custom orders are handled differently from standard ready-to-ship products.

Designs & inspiration

You are welcome to share inspiration, themes, colors, names, text, and other ideas. Inspiration helps us understand your vision, but the finished item may not be an exact copy of a reference image.

We reserve the right to decline requests involving artwork, characters, logos, or other material that we are not able to reproduce or use.

Pricing & custom quotes

Listed prices cover the customization described on the applicable product listing. Additional charges may apply for specialty materials, unusually detailed artwork, larger sizes, additional design work, multiple revisions, special packaging, or other requests outside the standard listing.

If your request changes the price, we will communicate the updated price before proceeding with the additional work.

Design approval

When a project requires design approval, production begins after the required details are confirmed. Once production has started, significant changes may require an additional fee or may not be possible.

Revisions

Minor revisions may be available before production begins. Repeated, extensive, or direction-changing revisions may be subject to a design or revision fee.

Turnaround times

Turnaround varies by product, order size, season, material availability, and current workload. The processing time shown on a listing or confirmed for a custom project is an estimate rather than a guarantee unless a specific deadline has been confirmed by Eclectic Elements.

Rush orders

Rush service may be available when our schedule allows. Rush requests can include an additional fee and are only considered confirmed after we approve the requested deadline.

Cancellation policy

Because custom items are made specifically for you, cancellations may be limited once work has begun, materials have been purchased specifically for your project, or a custom design has been started. If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible.

Returns & exchanges

Custom or personalized items are generally not eligible for return or exchange due to a change of mind, incorrect preference, or sizing choice supplied by the customer.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or has a workmanship issue, please contact us promptly with photos and your order information so we can review the issue and determine the appropriate solution.

Customer-provided information

Please double-check names, spelling, dates, colors, sizes, addresses, and other customization details before submitting or approving your order. Eclectic Elements is not responsible for mistakes caused by incorrect information supplied or approved by the customer.

Materials & handmade variation

Because our products are handmade, small variations in color, placement, texture, stitching, printing, or finish may occur. These variations are part of the character of a handmade Eclectic Element and are not necessarily defects.
